2008 Gold Cup

IABCA and International Dog Shows remembers Apollo:

Apollo was our third Gold Cup Champion; he won the 2008 award in our closest race ever.  Apollo competed in nearly two dozen International shows since 2007 earning nearly every title the IABCA awards in addition to many group wins and Rare Breed BIS and Best in Show rosettes.  Apollo passed away recently, we will remember him fondly.

2008 Gold Cup Award Ceremony...

The 2008 Gold Cup Championship came down to the final show of the year, in Conyers GA. With the final Gold Cup competition points awarded on Sunday added to the year long standings, California's Apollo, owned by Roman & Eva Kokotek, edged out [REMOVED], owned by [REMOVED]. Roman and Eva also own the third place winner in the 2008 Gold Cup standings, California's Amy. All three dogs were presented a beautiful gold trophy cup as part of their 2008 Gold Cup Championship, Reserve, and Runner-Up. The prize also awards them each a full page feature in every catalog this year as well as a featured spot on the home page of our website and a featured 2008 Gold Cup Champion page. Congratulations again to Roman & Eva Kokotek and Apollo!

Congratulations to our 2008 Gold Cup Champion: APOLLO!

“California's Apollo” is a Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff). He was born in July 2006 as the 1st litter in America to Sire and Dam “Romeo Del Morgan” and “Nicoletta.” Both parents were imported from Genoa, Italy. His show career in IABCA began in 2007 at Antioch, CA. Apollo has won 19 titles since he started, finishing in 2008 as Welt Super Cup Champion in Gold. He has also proven himself in ARBA, as MASTER CHAMPION, and ICCF, as a GRAND CHAMPION. Apollo has won many Best In Shows & BIS Rare Breeds. Apollo is extremely sweet and even tempered.
