Introducing the IABCA Grand Sieger Best in Show competition.

Each show weekend one dog will be chosen as Grand Sieger Best in Shows. The dogs eligible to compete for Grand Sieger will be all he Best in Show winners from Shows 1, 2, 3, and 4. This will include BIS: Puppy, Bred-by-Exhibitor Puppy, Adult, BBX Adult, Veteran, Rare Breed Puppy, Rare Breed Adult, and Gold Cup winner.

The Grand Sieger competition begins with the 2009 Evergreen Winter Sieger. The Grand Sieger Best in Shows awards will accumulate throughout the year and a Leader Board will be posted on our website. The points will be awarded by the number of total dogs defeated (the total number of individual dogs in a show weekend). The rankings will be used to seed the dogs in a Grand Sieger Invitational show to be announced later this year. The Grand Sieger Invitational Show competition will be a Heads-Up tournament style competition. Dogs will go head to head until there is only one left. The inaugural Grand Sieger Heads-Up Invitational show will be held in fall of 2010 in Purina Farms' new Dog Show Center being built now.
